FALL IS HERE! And pumpkins are in abundance. You could grab your jack-o-lanterns from the bulk bin at your local grocery store, or you could go straight to the source, and find your perfect gourd in the field. Here are all the pumpkin patches around the Central Okanagan. Go have fun!



Davison Orchards Country Village


This family-run farm and orchard features a cafe and country market, farm animals (bring change for animal feed), two epic farm-themed playgrounds, and a pumpkin patch . Plus, the view there is spectacular!

  • Hours: Open seven days a week, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. WEBSITE

  • Admission: Admission is free. Train tours into the patch take place Tuesdays and weekends. Train is $6/adults, $4/kids, or $9/person if you want to also pick a pumpkin. You can also buy pumpkins at the market.

Highlights: Riding the Johnny Popper Train! We also love the cafe and market (the food is great), vising the animals at the petting zoo, and our kids can never get enough of the playgrounds and giant hay climbing structure.

The Pumpkin Patch



This family-run pumpkin patch was started 20 years ago, with the goal of creating a fun place in the North Okanagan for families to come and enjoy the season. Take pictures on their hay wagon and pick some pumpkins to carve. Decorative corn, corn stocks, squash and gourds are also available for purchase.

McMillan Farms Pumpkin Patch


Lovely family-friendly working farm featuring a corn maze, pumpkin patch, farm animals, corn pit, gourd slingshot, and more. We love the hayride, which gives you a great view of this lovely 110-acre farm.

  • Hours: Sept. 28 until Oct. 31. Sun - Wed - 10 AM to 5 PM, Thurs - Sat - 10 AM to 6 PM. *Hours subject to change, due to weather and private events.

Highlights: Fun home-made activities for little kids, including big tubs where kids can play in corn kernels (yes, that’s exactly what it sounds like), mini tractors, and cute photo ops. Did we mention they’ve got a corn maze?

Sunset Family Farm Pumpkin Patch

KAMLOOPS (it’s worth the drive!)

Pumpkins and gourds of all kinds, as well as hay bales and corn stalks too. Whatever you are looking for, you and your family will have a great time picking out the perfect pumpkin to take home! Bonus: They have a corn maze!

Don-O-Ray Farms


A favourite among locals, this 45-acre family-run farm features fruits and vegetables picked fresh daily. This time of year, fresh-from-the-field pumpkins and decorative gourds are already picked and ready for you to take home. Don-O-Ray also offers salad dressings, honey, and other fresh, local groceries. There’s ample parking.

  • Hours: 9 am to 7 pm, seven days a week.

Highlights: There’s a petting zoo and hedge maze as part of the Don O Ray Farm Adventure, but these attractions are currently closed for the season.

FYI: The farm will be hosting a drop-in photoshoot event on Sunday, Oct. 22, where attendees can pay $25 for three high-resolution fall-themed photos and a pumpkin, between 10 am and 2 pm.! For more information visit website here.

Bilga Farms


Pumpkin patch and fruit stand in north Rutland. The pumpkin patch is modest, but the pre-picked pumpkins are beautiful, clean, well-organized, and the prices clearly marked. If you’re looking for your ideal pumpkin, and are happy to skip hay rides and corn mazes, this is a great spot!

Historic O’Keefe Ranch


Every Saturday and Sunday in October, Family Daze will be taking place at O’Keefe Ranch, and farm-fresh pumpkins will be available for purchase - $5 for large, $3 for small, as well as gourds and decorative items until supplies last.

  • Hours: Weekends, 11 am - 4 pm
