U-PICK APPLES 🍎 2019 season

Check out our list below of farms where you can pick your own. Please call ahead to confirm when each farm is open for U-pick opportunities, as it varies!

Davison Orchards

Where: 3111 Davison Rd, VERNON - see map below 🍎

When: Market and farm open July to October, but U-Pick apples happens in September - LAST U-PICK OCT. 1. Call ahead to confirm. More info here 250-549-3266

Hours: U-Pick Apple Tours run every Friday from 10 am - 4 pm, Saturday from 10 am-4 pm and Sunday from 10:30 am to 4 pm in September. (Come back in October for U-pick pumpkins!) Cost is $12 per person which includes a 10lb bag of apples and the Johnny Popper Ticket. Kids can experience an Apple Tour for $7 which includes a 2lb bag of apples and the Johnny Popper Ticket.

FYI: Take a ride on the tractor train into the orchard to pick your own apples straight from the tree. Farmers will take you into the rows, tell you about the different apple varieties, and show you the expert way to pick an apple.

Rose Family Orchards

Where: 11911 Okanagan Centre Rd. East, LAKE COUNTRY - see map below 🍎

When: Call ahead to confirm. More info here

Hours: Open daily from May to November, 9 am - 6 pm. Call to confirm: 250-801-1273

FYI: This 10.4 acre farm features cherry, apricot, peach, plum and apple trees, and includes a licensed commercial kitchen that produces handmade Belgium chocolates, fresh baked desserts, and ice cream with fruit toppings.

Paynter's Fruit Market

Where: 3687 Paynter Rd, WEST KELOWNA - see map below 🍎

When: Call to confirm: 250-768-7313. More info here

Hours: Market open 8 am - 9 pm every day.

FYI: Cherries ready for harvest in early July. No apricots for 2019. Peaches ready mid July - late August, plums August - September, pears late August-September, and apples in October.
